Greetings everyone!
In the Spring our energies begin to rise like the sap in our beloved maple trees. While an apt metaphor this energetic shift is not necessarily a smooth one. When Yin energy moves into Yang there are bound to be some hiccups, some clogs, some ragged edges. That's why we practice, why we move. This is the season where we physiologically shift from preservation to production, so honor this transition by giving your body what it needs. An inversion each day can help dust the cobwebs from the corners of your mind. Backbends and chest openers can help to amplify the beating of your heart furthering the flow of your own life blood, and awakening the body to its annual state of growth and renewal. If it’s been a while since you’ve been in the studio, join us, it may be just the shift you've been looking for.

Starting Wednesday May 4th at 8am, James will see you and other members of our dynamic Greater Portland community outside in Portlands Payson Park. This beautiful outdoor space is the perfect place to experience the peace fostering, strength building practice of Qigong the way it was meant to be

Check out some new additions to our video content collection, including two Prenatal Yoga videos from Amanda and Sarah. Using our content collection when you can’t find the time to plan for a class is a great way to maintain your personal commitment to practice, as well as the connection to your yoga community. Even when you are not in the studio, our instructors know you, and you know them, this relationship makes the difference between being seen and just another YouTube experience.
