I thank my midwife for recommending Jade Integrated health for both prenatal and postnatal services. Before my birth I had some acupuncture sessions with John, which were part of a series of intentional steps I took before having an incredibly positive and healthy birth experience (the BEST day of my life). John was great and these sessions were definitely key in heading into birth with an open relaxed mindset. About a year after giving birth I was struggling with some pelvic floor issues and followed up with some pelvic floor therapy with Kirsten. She helped me feel empowered as my body healed and I gained strength. I sincerely appreciate this great local resource! Thanks. I must have missed the first email about the testimonials so I'm not sure if there was a length requirement or a prompt we were supposed to respond to or something like that. When the lockdown first started I was so sad to be missing my yoga classes at Jade. I was not convinced that the on-line classes would be anywhere near as satisfying. I am happy to say I was proved wrong. The on-line classes have kept my yoga practice alive and thriving! I feel supported by the instructors and I am able to modify poses when I need to. I have even tried a class I had never been to and have been very happy with that. I do yoga on my own at home, but this allows for a sense of community as well as the benefits of having an instructor leading my practice. I still miss my in-person classes, but I encourage everyone to try an on-line class. - Mary
I wanted to tell how much I appreciate what you and Jade Staff have done to keep up our yoga classes with our instructors. Sara has done a remarkable job teaching her classes both from her home and at Jade. She is very clear with her instructions and is able to show us each of the positions from all angles. She has always been up beat and always ask how we are all doing. The other part is being able to see the other class members and chat before class begins. Lauren you have made this experience so easy to adjust to especially helping us senior women understand Zoom. I hope we can continue the online classes even when you return to Jade. - Claire

You’ve made it seamless to sign up and attend; class is always on time and really very much like being in the studio! We get to chat for a few minutes before class (and how nice to see my usual classmates!), then we are muted during class for quiet instruction without distraction. I am not one to do yoga on my own. When Jade closed in March, I wasn’t sure what I was going to do. But Jade lived streamed their classes on Zoom. I was able to do morning yoga classes in the comfort of my sunroom with Lauren or Sari all while watching the buds on the trees turn to brilliant green leaves through spring into summer. I also took boot camp classes from Sam. All instructors made each day of quarantine much easier. I am not ready to go back to the studio but will continue Jade’s Zoom classes. Give it a try - you will be pleasantly surprised! - Deb
"I like that the (drop-in) classes are $15. I like that you have to take your shoes and coats off at the landing before coming up to the actual studio - in a way it helps you check the rest of the world at the door. I like that there's parking. I like that the classes are intentionally small and intimate. As someone who's been practicing for years at home and has been wary of joining a class, I like that I didn't feel like I was being judged, or watched, or felt like I took anyone else's spot (so kudos to the regulars who come here, that's a testament to you). I like that I felt so welcomed. I like that the studio itself is so cozy and warm. And now I'm wondering if I should be telling you all this, because right now Jade feels like a hidden oasis." - Steph
