Jade Yoga is excited to announce a new benefit to our membership packages. With the purchase of a unlimited 1-month or 3-month membership, you will have access to the Jade online yoga library. Our yoga manager, Lauren and our instructors are hard at work growing this video library with different styles, class lengths and skill levels. Get a yoga class anytime you want from a local instructor you know and love. We will be adding more and more classes every month so please let us know if you have ideas or want a specific class!

Outdoor Class at Jade!

Jade Yoga is going into the great outdoors! Join our yoga instructors in nature as we continue to adapt and innovate in this new normal. All class are held at our Brunswick office at 12 Windorf Cir, Brunswick ME, 04011.

Wednesdays 4pm - Gentle Flow Yoga

Registration is required for outdoor classes. Space is limited and reservations are nonrefundable.

COVID PROTOCOL

We will be taking steps to keep our yogis and instructors safe and healthy.

  • Please remain 6 feet apart from other participants and the instructor at all times.

  • Face masks are not required as we are observing social distancing in an outdoor space. Please feel free to wear a mask if you feel more comfortable.

  • Please bring your own mat & props

  • Our restrooms & studio will be closed

  • Bring bug spray, sunblock and a water bottle

COVID-19 Studio Updates

Yoga management has finalized a phased reopen of our community yoga space. Phase 1 has been implemented this week. We have begun broadcasting some of our yoga & fitness classes from our studios. We are not inviting members into our studios yet (this will be part of phase 2, mostly likely in June and with very limited numbers of people). We will continue to live-stream ALL classes either from teachers homes or studios.

We realize everyone will have a different comfort level in returning to the studio and we want to respect and continue to support that, as well as see our out of state members come to classes (yes, we have gone nationwide!). For the foreseeable future will will be live-streaming classes, this is the "new norm".

We will officially announce phase 2 when we are prepared to invite members into the studio (June) along with our safety measures, and the number of reservations allowed for classes.

We want to thank each and everyone of you for your support. Our "new norm" is becoming a way of life and we are continuing to evolve, if we can offer additional classes, workshops, trainings please contact us, we love hearing from you!

The “How-To” for our Live-Stream Classes

  1. You will need to create an account and purchase a punchpass

  2. Take a look at our class schedule below. Click the name of the class you want and register.

  3. Once registered a Zoom link will be sent to you 10 minutes before the class.

  4. We suggest downloading Zoom ahead of time, so any technical errors can be worked out and you won’t miss class.

  5. Click the link in the email sent to you before class and enjoy!!

With COVID-19 dominating the news, no doubt you have been contemplating the effects of the virus on your life, your community, and your wellbeing. We know this is a vulnerable time for you.

We've been thinking hard about how we can support you as you consider measured, prudent steps to help mitigate the spread and impact of the coronavirus. We recommend following the recommended CDC guidelines stay calm, and if you find yourself limiting exposure, consider our online classes.

NOW STREAMING

By participating in online classes:

  • You can have continuity in your physical health pursuits. Even if many other things are in flux, we will help you stick to healthy routines.

  • It’s a social outlet. Our online classes can still provide that sense of community you rely on. There will be an opportunity for social chatter before and/or after your online class begins so you can say hi to each other as you would typically do in person. "Social distancing" might be required in a physical sense, but our human need to interact with others is still there.

  • We’ll help you maintain your physical fitness. Resist the urge to turn into couch potato if you are self-isolating, and hold your friends accountable for meeting you “online” for class! This is hard work to do alone, meet up with your old & new friends online in our classes.

  • Take a break, support your emotional and mental wellbeing. The constant stream of news is anxiety inducing. In a time of fear, by joining together online we can support one another from afar, maybe laugh a little too.
