Self-Massage and Restorative Yoga Workshop

Take some time for midwinter self-care!

In this 2 hour workshop you will learn self-massage techniques to find relief from muscular tension, busy minds, sluggishness, trouble sleeping and midwinter blues. One easy way to promote wellness and to leave those troubles behind is self-massage. Self-massage is a time-tested methodology for promoting health and a sense of wellbeing. Daily self-massage reminds us that we are here to enjoy and celebrate life rather than to just get through it.

After a short break and snacks, you will be guided through a restorative yoga class with aromatherapy and finish with a Yoga Nidra practice to soothe the mind and deepen your relaxation. Restorative yoga poses are held longer and help us to cultivate conscious relaxation teach us where we are holding tension. No yoga experience is necessary. Dress comfortably in loose clothing.

  • This class is appropriate for all levels, including beginners
