Yoga therapy is typically covered under your physical therapy benefit as your therapist and yoga instructor work closely together towards your therapy plan of care and goals. Yoga addresses strength, flexibility, balance, posture, alignment, breath control and motor control resulting in increased functioning of the neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
Yoga is a great way to ease yourself back into an activity following an injury. No prior yoga experience is necessary. Having a private session with one of our certified yoga instructors allows you to learn modifications to prevent further risk of injury.
