Self-Care for Parents
At Jade Integrated Health, we believe you are the best parent you can be when you are the best person you can be. Parenting is hard and the addition of chronic pain, migraines, stress-related imbalances, unstable moods, and anxiety only make the job harder. For parents, taking time for self-care is a must-do and it is not selfish.
Fall is quickly approaching. Now more than ever, fall is bringing a variety of new schedules and changes…. and new stressors! These changes can be overwhelming. Jade can help! We offer a variety of services to reduce stress and improve quality of life. Utilizing these services can put you in a better place to face the challenges ahead as we transition to another season.
Here are a few ideas:
Online Classes: An hour yoga class or 45-minute fitness class may be just what you need to relieve some tension. Yoga and working out is great for stress management and boosting your mood. Use these classes to find center and calm in what would be a chaotic day. Jade Yoga will continue utilizing our live-streaming class platform for the foreseeable future. Check out our full schedule of weekly classes.
Class Library: If a weekly online class doesn’t work into your schedule, take advantage of our growing online class library. We have a variety of classes, styles, time lengths and levels for whatever you need. This library is available to membership holders and new videos will be added every week.
Outdoor Yoga Classes: For the month of September, our outdoor yoga classes will continue to be held at Jade Brunswick. Join Grace Bedard DPT for Gentle Flow on Wednesdays at 4pm and Liz Korson for Mom and Baby Yoga on Fridays at 9am. Only a few classes left to connect with nature while enjoying yoga.
Physical Therapy at Jade: Jade Integrated Health offers a gentle, whole-human approach to physical medicine. Physical therapist can reduce chronic pain, headaches, women’s health issues, head and jaw disorders, nerve pain and much more. Our team of experienced physical therapist believe in working collaboratively with the patient and their care team to provide comprehensive care.
Acupuncture at Jade: Acupuncture can treat a wide variety of stress-related imbalances, as well as musculoskeletal pain, emotional distress, digestive disharmony, head and jaw disorders, and nerve pain. Acupuncture can also improve sleep, lower blood pressure, increase energy levels, and promote general wellbeing.
